Got a problem with your bike?
|
The Bike Kitchen is a non-profit social enterprise created to teach basic bike mechanics and bike repair in a welcoming safe space and provide safe, affordable transportation to the community.
Come in and use our tools to fix your own bike with the instruction of one of our mechanics. Many of our volunteers learn basic mechanics by repairing and refurbishing donated bicycles that go back into the community. High school volunteers earn their required volunteer hours helping out with us. |
How Does it Work?

REPAIRSOur mechanics offer a full selection of in-house repairs and service if you prefer not to do them yourself.

Earn-a-Bike Program
The Earn-a-Bike Program aims to provide a safe working bicycle to those who cannot afford to purchase a new bike, and to give participants the skills they need to maintain the bike is safe condition. Earn-a-Bike participants learn how to fix bicycles through volunteering their time to work on community bikes and by learning from the Bike Kitchen mechanics.
